Editorial Objectives

Advances in Dual Diagnosis (ADD) is a one-stop shop for dual diagnosis and complex needs research, news, policy updates and good practice, offering interesting, controversial and thought-provoking topical content.

As practical as it is informative, this international journal’s ultimate goal is to disseminate a combination of research and innovative practice case studies about co-occurring substance abuse and mental health problems and complex needs. The journal is rooted in the experience of dual diagnosis in practice, with user and carers’ experiences central to the tone and themes covered. It aims to support frontline workers in delivery of evidence-based practice and provides a forum for the debate of current issues and opinions.
