Creating productivity in public institutions
Abstract
Outlines the difficulties in motivating public employees. Provides suggestions to address these issues. Give guidance on conducting effective performance evaluations. Provides actions which should create a positive work environment. Concludes that managers must not only focus on the public need, but also the needs of each individual employee and establish structures that will motivate employees to work towards attainment of the organisational goals.
