Abstract

Premier Beverages (owner of Typhoo tea) is working with systems integrator Pacific Systems International to improve systems availability on AS/400 platforms. The Robot suite of automated operations software was installed to reduce the manning costs of moving from ten‐hour to 24‐hour‐a‐day operations. Automated job scheduling, message management, alerts and other aspects of automated systems management have been covered by the Robot suite, leveraging Premier’s IT investment.
