This collection of articles from an international group of academics and practitioners has its origins in a conference organised by the Sri Lanka International Group, Hotel & Catering International Management Association (HCIMA). The book will appeal to a wide readership – from students to practitioners – as each chapter is clearly presented and easy to follow. As a library purchase it is a useful reference text as it covers a broad range of topics in a practical and accessible way. The preface provides a helpful starting point as Chandana (Chandi) Jayawardena the book editor (and also associate editor of this Journal) provides a concise summary of each section.

The wide coverage of topics, blend of perspectives and authors and the concise, accessible format of this book help to ensure that there is something here for everyone.
