Abstract

Many readers will have heard the acronym NIMHE being bandied around and we provide a short profile of this new government agency. Next, Direct Payments are little used, but may offer significant potential for giving recipients of day services more control over the services they receive. Unlocking Potential is a network of mental health service users, aiming to provide a mental health employment service ‐ designed and delivered by service users. The Community Fund is a familiar ‘friend’ to many voluntary sector agencies and we offer a few pointers for those familiar with or new to the fund. Finally, we bring to your attention some new publications which may be of interest.
