Abstract
The information society is not the last “society” to come. Already, the next society is appearing on the horizon. It will not be driven by mastery of information – machines take care of that – but by endeavours to fulfil deep emotional needs. This will in some way be a return to the values of the hunting and food‐gathering society, and companies good at this will be successful.
