Using “Children’s Voting” in Japan to improve information literacy: children’s information use in learning activity
Abstract
Children’s Voting is a unique and unusual learning experience in Japan. It may be used as a practical learning method in order to develop the information literacy of children through an election campaign in the real world. This study discusses information use by primary school pupils aged 11‐12 and makes some suggestions for further studies.
