Sainsbury’s innovation ROI
Abstract
In 2002, Sainsbury’s, a UK food retailer, invested tens of thousands of pounds in the UK’s first one year “Diploma in Creative Talents and Solutions,” working alongside the Bristol Business School and management development consultants Jo Ouston & Co. The HR department at Sainsbury’s commissioned the project in order to discover if and how a specialized employee development program focusing on creativity could produce clear, quantifiable business benefits.
