Designing and Implementing Performance Management of Social Care Block Contracts in Fareham/Gosport Social Services Locality

Abstract

The article provides an account of an approach to managing contract performance in respect of block‐purchased social care services. The approach has confirmed quality threshold assumptions, and confirmed that the toolkit is effective at differentiating performance levels, informing improvement notices and measuring progress towards desired performance thresholds.
