The Teacher as the Technique in Training
Abstract
It is argued that in management training there has been an overemphasis on the participants, place, materials and techniques used, rather than on the person who does the training‐namely, the teacher. The need is focused on for trained personnel to be committed to their subjects and to feel that these subjects are important not only at work but also in life, and to be able to reflect these feelings to those they are training. Some tentative suggestions are offered as to how to find such teachers and how to develop them.
