Doing Business in a Different Culture: The Implications for Management Development
Abstract
Globalisation of business means that many managers will increasingly operate in different cultures. They need to be developed to do so. Strategic questions, factors to consider and their implications for management development are discussed. An example of an orientation programme (the Saudi culture) is given. It is concluded that tickets and visas are not enough.
