Abstract

A summary of a training programme proposal for an industrial engineering division of a large company is presented. It also includes background information pertaining to the division′s needs for training. A systematic training programme model was developed and served as a framework for proposal formulation. The training programme objectives and method are stated. This programme consists of three basic elements: (1) instructional media (2) systematic coaching, and (3) behaviour and attitude enhancement. Plans and outlines for each of these elements are also presented. Finally, training performance measurement criteria are described, followed by recommendations for programme implementation.
