Abstract

Attention is drawn to factors which create stress for women managers; it is essential that companies do recognise these specific stresses and create a policy to deal with them. The authors look at the role of stress management courses and what stress management policies should include, for example, seeing the company as a source of stress and addressing issues, such as communications, to combat this.
