Developing Effective Skills for 1992
Abstract
Considers the training requirements for the UK workforce in the increased competition of the Single European Market. Examines areas of training for different people resources: induction training, basic training, advanced training, and retraining, as well as the principle of the training audit to establish training requirements. Concludes that recruitment and retention of staff will become increasingly difficult, making it essential for training to be taken seriously to meet the challenges of the 1990s.
