Abstract

Purpose

This paper aims to review the latest management developments across the globe and pinpoint practical implications from cutting-edge research and case studies.

Findings

The study shows that women in HE environments face both visible and invisible barriers to career progression in organizations underpinned by societal and cultural values around gender.
