Sandvik Metinox, the Sheffield based distributor of Sandvik Bioline medical implant steels and close tolerance bar products for the chemical, oil and gas industries, has announced the appointment of Paul Dorrington as sales and marketing manager (Plate 1).

In his new role, he is responsible for sales of all Sandvik Metinox products in the UK and Europe and for consolidating the company's position in its key market sectors. In particular, he will provide technical product support to manufacturers of medical implants and other users of high performance materials.
