Worksop Galvanizing has appointed David Knight, a chartered engineer with an honours degree in mechanical engineering, to the new post of works manager designate. He was previously production cell manager with a leading manufacturer of measurement and control instrumentation.
He is working alongside works manager Joe Rowley, who has 30 years service at the plant, and is due to retire in two years time.
Worksop Galvanizing is part of nation-wide Wedge Group Galvanizing, which has plants in 16 different locations.
