Shipley Europe's manufacturing plant at Coventry, UK, has been accredited to the environmental standard IS014001 by the British Standards Institution (BSI). Following IS014001 accreditation of the Warrington site, Shipley focused on implementing the Environmental Management System (EMS) at the Coventry site to ensure all environmental issues were addressed.
Paul Bracegirdle, environmental officer, of Shipley said: "Attainment of IS014001 demonstrates to customers, stakeholders, regulatory authorities and the general public the commitment Shipley has towards protecting the environment, directly from the activities undertaken at Coventry and indirectly through the monitoring of suppliers and use of Shipley products at customer sites."
