Stated to be suitable for high temperature applications, such as muffle tubes, pyrometer sheathing or in high temperature oxidation furnaces. Sterling 310 is a 25 per cent chromium, 20 per cent nickel austenitic stainless steel with good oxidation resistance.

It is supplied in accordance with ASTM A312, NFA 49-117 and SEW 470/DIN 17758 PK.1 standards and offers better high temperature performance and a longer life than traditional 18 per cent chromium stainless steels.
