Industry affiliate scheme helps organisations in materials selection

Article Type: Industrial news From: Anti-Corrosion Methods and Materials, Volume 60, Issue 4

IOM3 has launched an all-new industry affiliate scheme (IAS) to assist small and large enterprises with their materials queries. The IAS understands that companies may not have in house expertise to select materials for their upcoming product ranges and offers an array of benefits.

There are two levels of membership, affiliate level and full membership level. Full membership highlights include:

  • Unlimited access to IOM3 events, workshops and training courses at a discounted member rate.

  • A free days consultation with a Materials Advisor for either advice on materials selection or the development of a training course.

  • Free and unlimited access to the information service helpdesk.

  • Promotion of your company through the dedicated supplier directory.

  • A free copy of Materials World, the Institute’s monthly magazine.

  • An abundance of networking opportunities through local societies and Institute events.

The Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining is dedicated to the promotion of materials and assisting professionals involved with the materials cycle. This membership provides full support to organisations who have dealings within the materials realm but who do not have on-site experts.
