Editorial

Welcome to this issue of Circuit World, the third edition that has been produced since I took on the role of editor. One of my immediate goals on assuming this position was to enhance further the technical content of the journal. To achieve this aim I have already strengthened the editorial board by inviting a number of key personnel from the circuit industry to join the team. In particular, I have aimed to have representation at all stages of the circuit manufacturing process from material supplier to end-user. Two of the new members are from UK based companies and there will be further additions in the near future. I have also changed the role of the editorial board into one that is significantly more proactive. This team is now tasked with identifying interesting and novel work that will make good contributions to Circuit World from both within the UK and the rest of the world. We are already beginning to have a larger quantity of papers submitted to Circuit World. All of us involved in the production of the journal are committed to making it the best technical journal for those involved in the world of circuits.
