Dyconex moves into new plant

Dyconex has announced a major expansion plan, which will be completed in 2002.

A new state-of-the-art manufacturing site will be implemented in Bassersdorf, ten minutes away from Zurich airport and ten minutes from the existing Dyconex plant in Zurich. The new 6,000 square meter facility will double today's capacity and become the new headquarters. After a phase of parallel production at both sites, the Zurich plant will be closed down.

Dyconex mainstream products, will be manufactured in a new dedicated line. Products including glass fiber materials will be processed in a separate production line.

This major step in capacity expansion, together with several optimization measures, will allow the company to offer high-reliability, high-tech products with short delivery times, and to satisfy the needs of its growing customer base into the new millennium.
