Keywords: GraphiCode

GraphiCode has introduced a major upgrade to its GC-PowerStation v. 1.2.0 CAM software for Printed Circuit Board (PCB) manufacturing (see Plate 1). This new release is introducing users to important new options and features unavailable in previous versions.

One of the main highlights of this release is that for the first time users will have the option to load ODB++ files. The ODB++ input option also supports part (component) information for added data intelligence. While parts have been handled by GraphiCode's Assembly product GC-Place, this is the first release of GC-PowerStation that can display part information.

In addition, GC-PowerStation now has two new outputs, one for the Mania Pegasus Flying Probe machine and another for the Mania Speedy Flying Probe machine. These outputs will allow users to create machine programs that seamlessly interface with the Mania Flying Probe machines. This, along with the improvements to the data management features, makes this release important to anyone working in the electronics manufacturing industry.
