Spirit circuits hold successful Open Day

Article Type: Industry news From: Circuit World, Volume 36, Issue 3

On 22 April 2010, Spirit Circuits held a most successful Open Day, arranged around the Manufacturing Insights programme. This is a best practice visit programme managed by Onsite Insights Limited on behalf of the Manufacturing Advisory Service – South East and the London Manufacturing Advisory Service.

The programme is specifically for manufacturing companies based in London and the south east of England with the aim of improving manufacturing in this country. The programme works by arranging for successful companies to host two or three visit days a year, when managers and leaders from other manufacturing companies can visit and enjoy site tours, presentations and discussions which address the challenges facing the manufacturing industry today and sharing ideas and solutions.

Onsite Insights flagship programme exists to encourage the sharing and adoption of best practice between UK companies. This is achieved by organising visits to award winning companies recognised for their best practice and success. In this regard, companies recognised for their achievements and results are invited to host a series of workshops at their place of work (onsite). Managers and owners of organisations are invited to attend the workshops to share, discuss and debate specific best practice topics. Visitors and host companies discover new opportunities and ideas and implement them within their own organisation.
