CENTRES OF EXCELLENCE: The Australian Administrative Staff College

Abstract

Since 1957, the Australian Administrative Staff College has been at the forefront in the preparation of senior and middle‐level managers for business and government within Australia and beyond. The quality of its programmes is reflected in the fact that it has attracted to the college nearly 8,000 managers, the great majority of whom now occupy positions of influence, not only in Australia but in many other countries.
