Abstract

The first two articles (See JEIT Vol. 1 Nos. 4 and 5) dealt with the concept of negotiation and the nature of conflict. In particular the interrelation of communication, trust and power was explored in the context of conflict. This third article is concerned with how these conflicts are resolved. In addition to offering a taxonomy of approaches to conflict resolution, it provides a detailed skill and knowledge breakdown of the negotiating process itself.
