Abstract

The traditional distinction between computer‐assisted learning and simulator training is becoming increasingly blurred. Computers play an important part in training simulators and in turn computer‐assisted learning uses simulation techniques. In addition, a number of developments are reviewed which point to an increasing use of the computer terminal as a training device, many of them resembling the use of simulators.
