Abstract

Introduction It is generally accepted that industrial systems in the majority of developing countries operate at lower efficiency and productivity levels than those in developed countries. For this reason, developing countries have the urgent problems of not only having to compete against time to narrow the technological gap and keep pace with developing new technologies, but also to improve the productivity and efficiency of their operating industrial systems.
