Abstract

Electrochemical measurements and corrosion tests were made at 30° using mild steel speciements immersed in sulphuric acid solutions without and with additions of procaine hydrochloride and tetracaine hydrochloride. Polarization curves indicated that these compounds act as cathodic inhibitors, that is, the cathodic curves were affected.
