Abstract

Compares chemical and dry stripping techniques in relation to the aircraft industry. Details the procedures followed and the effects of each operation on the integrity of the metal. Suggests that there are more advantages to dry stripping as it is more operator friendly and would appear to be less hazardous than chemical processes.
