NEW PRODUCTS — “I CAN FEEL WHEN THEY'RE RIGHT”
Abstract
Working on new products creates the adrenaline that keeps marketing people pumped up. They can feel the big winners at the concept stage almost every time. Naturally, there are many disappointments too. It's the marginal ones that cause the insomnia…those that can turn into 90‐day wonders, or become six‐month disappointments, or run into the sophomore slump that generally precedes terminal drop‐out.
