PLAYING AN ACTIVE ROLE IN TRAINING NETWORKS
Abstract
Those of us who are providing education and training today, do so within a European context. We can no longer think of the needs of potential participants, and the requirements of their future employers in relation to the UK alone. An increasing number of students or trainees will ultimately either work in other European countries, work in organisations that have significant overseas interests, have close family members working or living on mainland Europe, or will spend increasing amounts of their leisure time in other parts of Europe.
