Profiting from Diversity
Abstract
Westpac has a broad strategy in place to address the issues of workplace diversity as they relate to people from non‐English speaking backgrounds, people with disabilities and women. For the purpose of this paper I will present Westpac's Diversity strategy as it relates to women in management. It is the outcome of a significant review of strategic business capability and direction conducted in 1996.
