Clerical Skills Training:: Beyond the Standard Course
Abstract
Local Councils get stick from the Press. One of the main areas of criticism is the lack of social skills of people dealing with the public. There are a lot of reasons for this. One is that Councils are relatively unadventurous in staff training; another is that Councils are such diffuse organisations that they present problems to the trainer trying to produce a standard course.
