Abstract

My last article (JEIT Vol. 1 No. 6) talked of what the catalyst or tutor could do to get self‐development started, both at organisational and individual levels. This article and the next one will look at what can be done to help self‐development along, once the climate is right and the managers have started to run with the ball. I will look at such tools as projects, job rotation and line manager coaching.
