LANOLIN — as a Temporary Protective
Abstract
Although oils and greases have for long been applied to metals to protect them from corrosion, it has been with varying degrees of success and, in fact, it is now known that the indiscriminate application of oil can do more harm than good. Mr. Silman shows here how many of the disadvantages associated with the use of oil are overcome when lanolin is used instead.
