Abstract

It will be recalled that Cebelcor is a non‐profit‐making association of international character whose purpose it is to fight, by the three means of research, applied technology and education, the losses caused to industry by corrosion and corrosion products. Cebelcor comprises at present 64 members, including 51 in Belgium and 13 abroad (Australia, Spain, United States, France, Italy, Netherlands and Portugal). In the following report, information is given about the activities of Cebelcor since 1955. This information is mainly based on the report presented by the Administrative Council at the fourth ordinary general meeting on May 14, 1956, as well as on the latest Cebelcor information bulletin (No. 26, May 1956).
