Abstract

Airless Spray Unit. The development of a lightweight portable airless spray‐painting unit for a single operator means that spraying can now be carried out in places previously impracticable. Since no atomising air is used, a great saving of material and a virtual elimination of exhaust fumes is possible. The net weight of the pump and the 4‐gal. paint container is 17 lb., and the fluid pump of the unit has a ratio of 26 to 1.
