Surface‐treatment process for hard chromium plating of steel bars

Abstract

Long steel bars can now be hard chromium plated using a continuous surface‐treatment process. The process has been adopted at Cromax Oy's surface‐treatment plant in Finland. It is suitable for plating long steel bars of various dimensions and lengths and for plating the insides of long steel tubes.
