Abstract

A temporary protective has been developed at the Institute of the Plastics and Paint Industry, Gliwice (Polish Patent No. 130217). It is based on organic corrosion inhibitors, and is used mainly for the protection of steel beds at various stages of prefabrication and assembly of sheets, pipelines and structural elements generally not protected by paint coats but which should be free from corrosion products prior to being commissioned for service.
