Abstract

Last week while looking for something else I found myself reading through my file of your letters. No matter what the letter started out being about, it eventually turned into a discussion of whatever you had just finished reading. I know my letters to you are the same; sometimes I finish a book and make a note to tell you about it in my next letter. Everybody I write to does this, but then how many people these days write letters? That is another matter altogether but let me keep on here about reading.
