Abstract

Increasing productivity in manufacturing has, in recent years, been predicated on adopting automated equipment and the latest integrated manufacturing technologies. CIM, JIT, and TQC are just some of the terms that describe strategies manufacturers have embraced to engender greater efficiency and profitability.
