Comment: Particle research

Abstract

Particle technology is a subject that is of ever‐increasing importance to a wide range of industrial processes. In particular chemical engineers need much more information about the behaviour of particles so that they can predict the effect of the mechanical, electrical or thermal forces involved in the industrial process.
