Abstract

The Megapact laboratory vibration mill is now available for use with standard, domestic power supplies of 200/240V, single phase. Originally introduced for 3‐phase current, its availability with domestic current may widen its popularity as a replacement for conventional ball mills. The overall design remains unchanged with dual grinding chambers for continuous‐throughput or batch processing, but in addition it can be supplied with retaining bars to enable up to six separate samples of materials to be processed simultaneously.
