Company profile: Diamond Shamrock Chemicals (U.K.) Ltd.

Abstract

It is necessary to go back some 17/18 years in order to trace the beginnings of the flourishing company now bearing the name of Diamond Shamrock Chemicals (UK) Ltd., which manufactures, at its Leeds‐based factory, a wide range of chemical aids for process industries. These specialities, based largely on surface‐active chemistry, include such items as defoamers and anti‐foam agents, dispersants, viscosity modifiers, anti‐static agents and highly‐specialized lubricants.
