Abstract

Of the many different types of polymer latex which are now used for pigment coating, those which find the widest application are of the carboxylated styrene/butadiene (SBR) type. Other latex types which are used, often for speciality papers and boards, include polymers of acrylic esters, or butadiene and acrylic esters. The Revertex range of products also includes latices of these types, which are fully described in a new in‐depth brochure on the subject published by Revertex Ltd, Temple Fields, Harlow, Essex CM20 2AH.
