Abstract

Baird & Tatlock (London) Ltd. will show the AF3 direct reading Karl Fischer titrator for moisture determination. The AF3 employs modern computer technology and a controlled impulse metering pump as the two principal elements of a fully automatic push‐button titrator. It has two basic modules. The metering module automatically accepts the correct volume of reagent straight from a standard 1 or 2 litre Winchester bottle. No reservoir bottles, volumetric glassware or syringe burettes are involved. The titration module automatically displays the results directly as a digital readout in milligrams of water to the nearest 0.11 mg. No time consuming calculations are involved.
