If you don't make it, it's not yours
Abstract
Karl Marx was closely associated with bleak determination and an utter cynicism in regard to human nature. He also told us history is subject to the inexorable control of economic forces which move all human societies along the road to socialism. Further, when this beautiful state had been achieved, the means of production would be in new hands … He has thankfully been proven wrong (so far) in the first instance but could he be right in regard to the second?
