Can coating

Abstract

Beyond any doubt the application area of can coatings is one of the most complicated areas in the paint industry. The packaging industry must meet the challenge of manufacturing a product on a basically unattractive substrate which sells itself. Without a coat of paint this would be impossible. Apart from the exterior and ethical aspects, the final result mainly depends on the technique. Where can one find machines capable of applying coats at a rate of 1000 per minute. In the beer and soft drink industry these rates are quite normal.
