Weather‐resistant powder coatings
Abstract
The powder coatings based on carboxyl‐group‐containing polyesters and TGIC, notable for their outstanding resistance against atmospheric conditions, generally show less favourable flow properties than PUR or even epoxy and hybrid powder coatings. There is therefore an urgent need for polyester resins which in association with TGIC combine the outstanding weather resistance of this binding‐agent system with excellent flow properties.
